Thankfully last night was a school night, so there was no repeat of my drunken Jake Bugg antics and I could actually take in all of the audio-visual assault that is Beyonce’s Mrs Carter World Tour.
First up, I managed to catch a bit of X Factor winner Sam Bailey’s support set – which was largely uneventful save for a few encouraging whoops and cheers from the crowd when she hit the high notes. This weekend we’ve had not one, not two but three awesome new remixes of Beyonce’s new album highlight ‘Drunk In Love’.
First up, Kanye West revealed his reworking of the track on Valentine’s night – his first official new music since Yeezus. Kanye’s remix is allegedly getting its own video as well, which is expected to drop pretty soon. For now though you’ll just have to make do with the stream:
