Mercury Music Prize 2013 latest odds – Disclosure favourties to win

With the winner of this years Mercury Music Prize Album Of The Year set to be announced next week, it seems like a good time to check in with the bookies and see who the smart money is on to take home the £20,000 winners cheque.

When the nominees were announced last month it seemed Arctic Monkeys and David Bowie would be the favourites to win, but now Deep House brothers Disclosure have been made 3-1 favourites, with Laura Mvula not far behind with odds of 7-2 at most bookies.

David Bowie’s The Next Day and Foals’ Holy Fire seem well placed at at 5-1 and 8-1 respectively, and may well be worth a cheeky flutter, but if you’re really looking for value then James Blake’s Overgrown – as high as 20-1 at some bookies – might turn out to be a profitable dark horse!

All major bookies are taking bets on the Mercury Prize, and if you get in the mood for online gambling then you can’t go wrong with a bit of blackjack at blackjack.888casino.com
