For a band as successful and important as Led Zep, it’s almost unthinkable that there is still some unheard material knocking about that hasn’t at least made its way on to bootlegs. But apparently Robert Plant has unearthed some unreleased tapes and wants to release them as soon as possible. The only stumbling block to…
Both Metallica and Manic Street Preachers have been talking about playing Glastonbury next year. Rumours about who may or may not be playing next years Worthy Farm festival have been swirling since Michael Eavis’ tantalising revelation that he already has the headliners lined up – and all three of them have never played the festival…
Six months after being rescued from administration, high-street chain HMV is going on the attack in the digital music landscape with a new iOS and Android app. The big reason HMV failed in the first place was that it was too slow to capitalise on its brand-power in the online space, allowing the likes of…
As you may have noticed from the slightly inactive Live Music category here at All-Noise, I’ve not been getting to much gigs recently. The duo got together in 2010 and released a pretty brilliant self-titled album, but then went back to their many other projects – Danger Mouse has been…
Tickets for next years Glastonbury Festival went on sale this morning and sold out in record time – 1 hour 27 mins to be precise – which means thoughts now naturally turn to what bands people will be seeing for their £210 entrance fee. 70’s rockers Fleetwood Mac have been one of the favourites to…
When he announced his new album Beautiful Rewind a few months ago Four Tet took a bit of a swipe at the music industry, saying: “no pre order, no youtube trailers, no itunes stream, no spotify, no amazon deal, no charts, no bit coin deal, no last minute rick rubin.” Other than share a couple…
