Coldplay announce new album ‘Ghost Stories’ and streamtrack ‘Magic’

After the surprise release of the Jon Hopkins-produced ‘Midnight’ last week, Coldplay have followed up with news of a new album and released another track online.

The album – the bands sixth – is called Ghost Stories and will be released on 19 May through Parlophone. Here’s the artwork for it:

The Killers and Justin Timberlake are headlining V Festival 2014

The line-up for V Festival 2014 has just been announced, and it’s an American lock-out with Justin Timberlake and Las Vegas band The Killers headlining the two-day event.

Supporting them on the bill are the likes of Lily Allen, Manic Street Preachers, Ed Sheeran, Elbow, Bastille, Rudimental, Blondie, Katy B, Janelle Monae, Miles Kane as well as the special guests Chic feat. Nile Rodgers.

Klaxons announce new album ‘Love Frequency’ – out 2 June

After breaking their four-year hiatus with last months double-whammy of ‘There Is No Other Time‘ and ‘Children Of The Sun‘, Klaxons have today announced they will release their third album on 2 June.

The album will be called Love Frequency, and boasts some stellar names on production duties including James Murphy, Erol Alkan, Gorgon City and Tom Rowlands from The Chemical Brothers.
