Listen to “Get Out” – New Single by CHVRCHES
Chvrches is back with a new single “Get Out”. It’s produced by Greg Kurstin. It’s from band’s upcoming third LP and it’s definitely going to be full of pop stuff as you could understand from their latest single. Not only that, Lauren Mayberry also signaled the same during a recent interview. It could also mean […]
Watch: CHVRCHES cover of Janelle Monae’s ‘Tightrope’
Regular readers of All-Noise will know I’m quite a big fan of the very underrated Janelle Monae, and you’ll probably also be aware that I quite liked CHVRCHES debut album as well. It’s no surprise then that this video piqued my interest. It was shot during a recent BillBoard ‘Women In Music’ event and shows […]
Listen: January 2014 Playlist – All the Best Music from January 2014 in one handy playlist
Although January tends to be a bit of a depressing month – Christmas is gone, no-one has any money, the weather is dreary etc. etc… – it does have one thing going for it: new music.
January is typically the month where everyone starts the ‘big in 2014’ scramble – so there’s always a lot of cool new music floating around to get into on those dark nights.
I’ve put together the below playlist featuring the best of what’s come out in January, which includes new stuff from BANKS (who is definitely going to be big in 2014), Bombay Bicycle Club (already pretty big I think!), Yuck, Metronomy, James Blake, Blood Red Shoes, Elephant, Blood Cultures and loads more. There’s also a couple of tasty remixes in there as well. Read more about Listen: January 2014 Playlist – All the Best Music from January 2014 in one handy playlist …

This Week’s New Single Releases (15th September 2013)
My round up of the new singles available for digital download this week. Arcade Fire feat. David Bowie – ‘Reflektor’ Arcade Fire’s first cut from the album of the same name is a weird affair with many varied elements, thumping bass lines, French and an understated appearance by Mr Bowie himself. Very much like a […]
The most interesting London festivals of 2014
Is there no better way to while away one’s free moments; minutes so furiously wrenched away from the boring rigmarole of everyday life; than putting on pairs of shades and shorts and heading on down to a summer festival. Baking sun, guitar twangs percolating through the breeze, and a frosty pint of lager; we wouldn’t […]

For some reason today has seen three brilliant cover versions emerge from three of the most exciting new acts around.

Phil’s Top 100 Music Singles of 2013: #20 – #1
So in this final part, here are my top twenty songs of 2013! 20. Gary Barlow – ‘Let Me Go’ (Released: November, No. 2) After a few years captaining the reformed Take That man-band, Barlow released his first major solo single in fourteen years. Taking inspiration from Mumford and Sons, this perky, country-tinged number feels […]
