Everyone’s favourite cartoon band Gorillaz have announced they will release a new single on February 23. The bands bassist and spokesperson Murdoc Niccals took to Twitter to announce that ‘DoYaThing’ will be released as part of trainers brand Converse’s ‘Three Artists, One Song’ initiative:

Murdoc also confirmed ‘DoYaThing’ will feature Outkast’s Andre 3000 as well as James Murphy from LCD Soundsytem – which should prove to be a bit tasty! As part of the association with Converse, Gorillaz designer Jamie Hewlett has also designed a special range of trainers and is currently working on the accompanying video.
