Kanye West has suggested that his rumoured joint album with Jay-Z could be released within a week. The album, titled Watch The Throne, has been highly anticipated since rumours of a collaborative effort between the two hip-hop heavyweights gathered momentum last summer.
During a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas, Kanye was quoted as saying Watch The Throne is ‘coming in one week’.
With no album releases scheduled with Kanye’s label, and no pre-order listings on iTunes or Amazon, the rumour mill has been speculating that a) Kanye had a bit too much to drink, or b) the album could be released for free online, possibly as part of Kanye’s G.O.O.D Friday series.
While the first option seems more likely, we have our fingers well and truly crossed for option b!
