When he announced his new album Beautiful Rewind a few months ago Four Tet took a bit of a swipe at the music industry, saying: “no pre order, no youtube trailers, no itunes stream, no spotify, no amazon deal, no charts, no bit coin deal, no last minute rick rubin.”
Other than share a couple of tracks from the album – ‘Kool FM‘ and ‘Parallel Jalebi‘ – Kieran Hebden has been true to his word and hasn’t indulged in any buzz-building promotional activities for the album, and now it appears Beautiful Rewind is getting the ultimate low-level, fanfare-less release tomorrow (3 Oct).

In support of the albums release, Four Tet is scheduled for a marathon DJ set on Rinse FM this Sunday (6 Oct) which will see him on the decks from 9pm to 5am.
