Much-hyped hip-hop collective Odd Future are set to release their first album on a major label this March. According to Rolling Stone, the album will be called The OF Tape Vol 2 and will be released by Sony via the bands own Odd Future Records imprint.
Odd Future (0r Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All to give them their full moniker) have made a name for themselves by releasing their work for free online, so this latest move seems designed to push them further into the mainstream with major label distribution and promotional backing.
As well as a debut Odd Future album, the groups main man Tyler, The Creator is also set to release Wolf this May – the follow-up to last years debut solo album Goblin.
The collective will also be gracing our TV screens this year with their own show Loiter Squad, which will see them performing tracks, sketches, pranks and basically arseing about for the cameras.
