Manic Street Preachers bassist Nicky Wire has revealed the Welsh trio are already working on a follow-up to ‘Postcards From A Young Man’.
Speaking to NME, Wire revealed the new album has a working title of ’70 Songs Of Hatred And Failure’ and will see a change of pace and direction from their ultra-commercial last album, saying:
“There’s only so much melody stored in your body that you can physically get onto one record. It was just so utterly commercial and melodic.”
The Manics are currently on the final leg of their world tour, and will play rescheduled dates in Birmingham and London in December and January.
