Janelle Monae tickets for Manchester, Birmingham and London shows in May

Criminally underrated US pop-soul-funk sensation Janelle Monae is set for a quick-fire three-date UK tour this May, and tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow morning (Friday 7 February).

Monae released her second album The Electric Lady last year, which featured a host of guest stars including Prince, Solange Knowles and Erykah Badu.

The success of the album has led to Monae receiving a Brit Awards nomination for Best International Female.

    It is very true that Janelle Monae is as underrated as it gets in the US.  There are only a handful of true R&B female singers here in the states and it is a shame that they are not praised the way that they should.  Another artist that you should check out is ERIKA KAYNE.  A beautiful and budding talent from Cleveland Ohio with an unmatched voice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbGLZ7cQXPI
