Sparse, off-kilter, atmospheric pop – everyone’s making it at the minute. A lot of it, as usual when something gets a bit popular, is pretty rubbish and derivative, but there’s also some gems to be found in this burgeoning scene. Oxford’s Glass Animals are definitely one to put in the ‘gems’ section – but don’t take my word for it, check out their new EP ‘Leaflings’ below:
