Gorillaz front-man Damon Albarn has taken a swipe at X Factor, calling the show a ‘malignant tumour that keeps growing’. The Sun quotes the former Blur front-man as saying:

Meanwhile, Damon has also been revealing details of his future musical plans. He recently told Spin magazine that he is recording demos for a new Gorillaz album while on tour in America.
The prolific star also revealed he is putting the finishing touches on a record featuring the Red Hot Chilli Peppers bassist Flea, as well as making plans for a new The Good, The Bad and The Queen album.
