The promotional machine for the new Arctic Monkeys album Suck It and See is well and truly under way now, with the band releasing yet another song online today.
‘Reckless Serenade’ is the third new Monkeys song to be released from their forthcoming fourth album, following the online releases of taster track ‘Brick By Brick’ and first single proper ‘Dont Sit Down Cause Ive Moved Your Chair’.
Whereas these previous songs confirmed Arctic Monkeys had not fully abandoned the more dense rock sound that polarised their fanbase on third album Humbug, ‘Reckless Serenade’ suggests Suck It and See will be a much more balanced affair and feature more of a focus on classic pop songwriting.
