Tickets for next years Glastonbury Festival went on sale this morning and sold out in record time – 1 hour 27 mins to be precise – which means thoughts now naturally turn to what bands people will be seeing for their £210 entrance fee.
70’s rockers Fleetwood Mac have been one of the favourites to headline ever since Michael Eavis suggested that all of next years headliners have never played Glastonbury before, and today Ladbrokes have confirmed that they have stopped taking bets on Fleetwood Mac headlining Glastonbury 2014.
The band had previously been priced at 1/4 to headline, but Ladbrokes are now so confident the veteran rockers will be one of the three headline acts that they have now stopped taking bets. Other acts thought to be in the frame are Daft Punk and Depeche Mode (both with odds of 6-4), David Bowie (3-1). The much rumoured reformation of Oasis also seems to be a popular bet, with odds currently at 4-1 (do these people not listen to Noel!)
See Tickets are idiots
If you were one of the many unlucky people who failed to get tickets for Glastonbury this morning because See Tickets prefer not to spend money on extra servers and technical support, then this sarky and thoroughly unhelpful Facebook post from them might not go down too well:
