Blake Shelton was guest on Saturday Night Live on the night of January 24. The country singer had a lifetime offer to show his talents on the musical show and he really did well with the opportunity by performing his best tracks. The country singer performed “Boys ‘Round Here” from his 2013 album and took music fans two years back with him. His other track “Neon Light” was from his 2014 studio album titled “Bringing Back the Sunshine”.
Blake Shelton’s label gave him the right opportunity and he grabbed it with both hands showing his best ‘live’ self. He also did a great job promoting his ninth studio album and reminding everyone that he was doing good music even two years back thus forwarding his brand. Considering that this was Blake’s debut on SNL, the performances were really good. Many of you may have confused the blonde backup singer with Miranda Lambert – it wasn’t her.
Many fans expected Blake to perform only from his recent album and probably include “Lonely Tonight” which he would have performed with Ashley Monroe. Nevertheless Blake made his choice and to be honest he did pretty well with it. Watch clips from SNL below and be sure to check back when we add video for Blake Shelton’s performance on SNL.
