The list of nominees for 2017 Grammy Awards was released today. In fact to the surprise of many, Meghan Trainor announced the major categories on CBS This Morning. Later, the other nominees in remaining categories were unveiled through the internet.
Now I’m sure you are wondering who has the most number of nominations – always the most interesting fact to look at when Grammy releases the list of nominees. This year, the highest number of nominations go to Drake and Rihanna, both getting 9 different nominations. Chasing them close is Kanye West who has 8 nominations. While Adele has 5 nominations. The surprises include Demi Lovato who won her first ever nomination. The nomination is for the Best Pop Vocal Album. Didn’t she deserve that? She worked hard on her new album and now seems like she’s going to get the reward.
