Electro-singer Little Boots, real name Victoria Hesketh, has released ‘Shake’ the first taster from her forthcoming second album, which you can hear right here:
Little Boots – SHAKE by LittleBoots
Little Boots shot to fame with the release of her debut album, Hands, in 2009, and was touted as one of many next big things. Although the album didn’t quite match the expectations, it did help Little Boots establish herself as an exciting prospect in the electro-pop world. Much more exciting than La Roux anyway!
For the past year or so things have been a bit quiet on the Little Boots front, and now we know why – she’s been locked away crafting album number two. And if ‘Shake’ is anything to go by, her second album could well be the one that lives up to those high expectations we all had two years ago. The intro might plod on a bit too long, but just get on that chorus – if that don’t put you in a good mood then you’re proper done for.
