Anita Maj is yet another artist from the seemingly endless conveyor belt of young female singer-songwriters. Luckily though, she may have just enough of an individual sound to stand out.
Her new single ‘Playtime’ (out November 28th on Little Minx Recordings) shows she’s got an ear for a great power-pop hook and distinctive vocals that put her somewhere between Janelle Monae and Marina Diamandis. It also helps that the chorus is ridiculously infectious!

‘Playtime’ is the second sngle taken from Anita Maj’s forthcomng debut album Truth Or Dare – which is due out next Spring and was produced by Kasabian collaborator Dan Swift.
