Pulp reforming for 2011 festival shows

pulp reforming Nineties Britpop favourites Pulp have announced they will reform to play a string of high profile festival shows next summer.

Following in the footsteps of other recently reunited Nineties bands like Suede, Pulp will be getting back together to headline the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona on May 27 and the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park on July 3.

The dates will be the Sheffield bands first gigs since 2002, and the first to feature all the original members since their Britpop heyday in 1996.

Check out the official Pulp website for their typically cryptic and artistic take on their reunion.

Tickets for next years Wireless Festival are due to go on general sale this Friday (12 November) – and with this announcement you can expect a server crashing, phone line jamming scramble to get some!
