Bio – Music has always been something that I have adored. Whether I sang along to it, listen to it, or dancing very badly to it; music carries a lot of memories and has shaped the houses that I grew up in. My mum was a gospel choir teacher and I was always part of musical theatre groups growing up. Music has always been very much central to my life from a young age. I love it! I think my love for music started when I realized that a song could change my mood, it could make me happy, sad, feel lonely or feel a million miles from where I actually am. I remember when I was little I would watch Britney, Sonique, Backstreet Boys (amongst others) on Saturday morning Rage TV and always thought that they had the best job in the world. They get to perform songs that have the ability to shape someone’s mood and evoke memories! And obviously the cool outfits were just a bonus! Now its my turn to make music I love! I recently teamed up with producer/ songwriter/musician Sarah deCourcy and every day we experiment with sounds, words and stories that resonate with who we are as individuals. There are no rules. The mixture of melody and voice combined with organic and electronic sounds gives my music its identity. I cannot wait to take you guys along for the journey and share my music with you all. I’ts funny because I always dreamed of doing music when I was younger. Now I’ m doing it! It’s serial, its exciting and Im excited to share the album with you!
