“Some In The Water” is probably one of the best singles we have heard from Carrie Underwood so far. This track will be included in her upcoming album titled “Greatest Hits: Decade #1” which will drop in stores in December, this year. Although this album, as title suggests, is going to be a collection of Carrie’s best songs ever instead of original tracks, the good new though is that at least it will have “Something in the Water” which is a confirmed original track.
Carrie Underwood was due for an original album release but since she is pregnant and she won’t probably be able to promote an original album for next few months, there is no doubt that this had a thing to do with her label deciding to come up with a hits compilation album rather than original one. After all if she isn’t going to promote it, the label won’t risk losing business.
“Something In The Water” by Carrie Underwood is a lovely country ballad that reminds of many great moments about life, love, and countryside. The singer talks about meeting a preacher by the river who is probably God. Nevertheless, Carrie doesn’t reveal identity of this man and continues delivering the message.
