Gwen Stefani is back with a new song. This new song, inspired from her recent break-up, rocked the audience at the MasterCArd Priceless Surprise Concert in New York City. Gwen talked to the audience before her performance saying that she wanted to share a new song that was special to her. The song “Used To Love You” actually turned out to be a special track as was clear from audience’s response at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC.
Gwen Stefani was married to Gavin Rossdale of No Doubt for 13 years before their relationship came to an end as Gwen filed for divorce last August. The song “Used To Love You” is all about that relationship and how it ended. The track will appear on Gwen’s upcoming third studio album that will probably be released in 2016. The album will be released via Interscope Records. As of now, this album is untitled.
