Some cool new music for you to get your ears around today from the rather excellent Dartford songstress Lillian Todd-Jones.
Lillian is currently working with famed songsmith Gordon Mills Jr, who has previously helped out the likes of Ed Sheeran and Newton Faulkner. Of this working relationship, Lillian says: “it has been an amazing experience working with Gordon. When working together in his studio, the world seems to disappear, when it returns… there’s a new song”.
The first fruit of their work together is ‘Butter Soul’, a moody, haunting and completely enrapturing track with a cool video (which was made with the help of The Jim Henson Workshop). Watch it here:
