I know some of you might have tried to watch this documentary but it’s 40-minute long and that’s a lot of time to waste. Probably, a lot of you backed out like I did, somewhere at around 15-minute mark. But the good news is that now you don’t have to watch this full documentary to see what J. Cole wanted to say. He has cut the slack and given us two distinct scenes from the documentary that pretty much say it all.
So for all those people who couldn’t sit for 40 minutes but still wanted to see what J. Cole had to show us in the video – there are the two clips, right after this news story. Watch these two clips and you will know what I mean. These are the essence of the documentary and if you watch them and find really impressive, then go on and watch the full documentary. Otherwise, these two scenes will be all that you need to watch from this documentary.
These two videos are titled “False Prophets” and “Everybody Dies”. J. Cole released them on YouTube today masked as ‘music videos’, although they aren’t exactly MVs.
J. Cole premiered the original documentary “Eyez” on TIDAL last week. He also uploaded the full documentary on YouTube so those who want to see the full documentary could watch it free.
Since J. Cole has already announced his new album to come out on 9th December, it’s clear that these videos will help him gather some momentum before the big moment. Since these MVs are cleverly done, I’m sure a lot of you would love them and wait for J. Cole’s upcoming album. For now, watch these videos below.
