Beady Eye have announced the first single proper to be released from their debut album will be ‘The Roller’. The band have already made two songs available online – Bring The Light and Four Letter Word – but ‘The Roller’ will be the first Beady Eye single to go on general sale.
The band announced the single will be released on 24 January, with a 7″ following on 21 February. ‘The Roller’ will be premiered on Radio 1 tomorrow morning (7 Jan), and will be available on the bands YouTube channel immediately after.
Meanwhile, Liam has begun the predictable (but still fun!) Noel-baiting in the run-up to the release of the first Beady Eye album, accusing his older brother of using songs from the final Oasis recording sessions for his solo album. Liam told Uncut:
“I’ve heard his fucking new record ‘cos I fucking sang on half of it. When I was in America for Dig Out Your Soul. And he swiped some off ‘cos he obviously knew he wanted to do a solo album.”
