Mysterious and hugely popular producer Burial rounded off 2012 with the blogosphere-igniting ‘Truant/Rough Sleeper’ EP, and is set to the same this year with an EP of new material released on 16 December.
There’s been no word on the title of the EP, but we do know it will consist of three tracks and be 28 minutes long.
Like last year, the EP will be released on Hyperdub.
Burial made his name with his brilliant self-titled debut album in 2006, which was followed up with the seminal Untrue in 2007. Since then, Burial obsessives have been feeding off scraps – so news of a new EP is bound to delight them.
