As reported earlier this month Broken Bells (producer Danger Mouse and The Shins’ James Mercer) are reuniting to release their second album After The Disco – and have just premiered part one of a short film featuring music taken from the album.
The short film, titled ‘Part One: Angel and the Fool’, stars House Of Cards star Kate Mara and Anton Yelchin from Star Trek. It was written by Danger Mouse and directed by Jacob Gentry. It’s a bit trippy with heavy sci-fi influences going on, as Yelchin’s character Oliver meets Mara as a spacewoman in his dreams.
