Big Sean has finally appeared on Saturday Night Live. It was a big moment for Sean and he complimented it by performing two new songs. Both were taken from his upcoming fourth studio album.
The first single the rapper performed was “Bounce Back”. This single set the tone for his performance. He followed it up with “Sunday Morning Jetpack”, which is inspired by “The Life of Pablo”. Sean Paul even refers to it in the lyrics.
“Sunday Morning Jetpack” is where Sean thanks the higher power for all the success he has had in his life. He also thanks God for setbacks and for the forgiveness. He feels as if his song is a prayer that goes up (jetpack) and he gets rewarded immediately through God’s blessings.
This was Sean Paul’s first TV performance where he sang “Sunday Morning Jetpack”. However, it wasn’t the first time the rapper appeared on SNL. He made an appearance back in 2010 when he was backing vocals for Kanye West. But anyway, this is his first appearance on the show as a guest.
