If you’ve been keeping up with Arcade Fire’s relentless publicity campaign for new album Reflektor, you’ll know that they have been playing a lot of gigs as The Reflektors.
So far there’s been no official word on if and when they might be playing any UK dates, but it looks like an eagle-eyed Twitter user has spotted a poster announcing that The Reflektors are playing Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom on 27 November.
Here’s the original Tweet:
JUST SEEN THIS IN LIVERPOOL! HAS ANYONE ELSE SEEN ANYTHING?! AMAZING!!! #reflektors #arcadefire pic.twitter.com/VaM6sxY0cW

Now obviously this could all be an elaborate hoax, as the poster wouldn’t be that hard to produce at home – but the NME have apparently been in touch with Ticketmaster who have confirmed that Arcade Fire/The Reflektors are indeed playing Blackpool on 27 November. They haven’t yet announced when tickets will go on sale, but if you look closely at the poster above it says they go on sale on Friday 1 November.
If their recent Brooklyn, NY shows are anything to go by, tickets will go like hot cakes and be re-sold for crazy amounts of money!
If you haven’t heard Reflektor yet then you can stream it in full here.
