Marina & The Diamonds new single ‘Homewrecker’ to be released next week….

Marina & The Diamonds have announced the first taster from their forthcoming second album, Electra Heart, which is due for release on April 30.

Singer Marina Diamandis took to Twitter to announce the release of ‘Homewrecker’, which will be made available to fans who register their details on the bands official website: http://www.marinaandthediamonds.com/

Inevitably, it didn’t take long for the track to surface online, and you can listen to the fan-made video of it above. Unsurprisingly, ‘Homewrecker’ is a melodic electro-pop song with a killer chorus and slightly dark edge (sample lyric: “I’m only happy when I’m on the run / I break a million hearts just for fun”) which suggests Electra Heart will follow on nicely from The Family Jewels.

What do you guys think of ‘Homewrecker’? Let us know in the comments below….
