First Beady Eye single to be released on 24th Jan

first beady eye single Beady Eye have announced the first single proper to be released from their debut album will be ‘The Roller’.  The band have already made two songs available online – Bring The Light and Four Letter Word – but ‘The Roller’ will be the first Beady Eye single to go on general sale.

The band announced the single will be released on 24 January, with a 7″ following on 21 February.  ‘The Roller’ will be premiered on Radio 1 tomorrow morning (7 Jan), and will be available on the bands YouTube channel immediately after.

Meanwhile, Liam has begun the predictable (but still fun!) Noel-baiting in the run-up to the release of the first Beady Eye album, accusing his older brother of using songs from the final Oasis recording sessions for his solo album. Liam told Uncut:

“I’ve heard his fucking new record ‘cos I fucking sang on half of it. When I was in America for Dig Out Your Soul. And he swiped some off ‘cos he obviously knew he wanted to do a solo album.”
