Iggy Azalea has released a preview of her new song “7teen”. The Aussie raptress shared this preview on Twitter despite having wowed to leave social media aside earlier this year. You see two men dancing to a new Iggy song in the video. The song is a statement from Iggy that she isn’t holding back despite all the hate she’s been getting from social media.
Iggy’s original plan was to release a buzz song in September but instead she opted to preview “7teen”. Considering what she said on Twitter about music business in the post-thanksgiving period, it seems like we’re not going to hear anything new from her until 2016.
The song “7teen” is presumably from her upcoming album but there is no official word on it. The 20-second snippet is all we get without anything more about it. In this short video, two people are dancing and Iggy names Future and DJ Esco, letting her fans discover the possibilities of having both as featured artists on full version of the song.
As it appears, Iggy will include “7teen” in her second album. The album will be titled “Digital Distortion” and it will be released in 2016. For now, you only got this 20-second snippet from Iggy to listen. She won’t be dropping anything new for weeks.
