Ghostpoet has revealed the details of his forthcoming second album, the follow-up to his 2011 Mercury-nominated debut Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam.
His new album is called Some Say I So I Say Light (try saying that 10 times fast!) and will be released on 6 May through Play It Again Sam.
As well as announcing the album, Ghostpoet (real name Obaro Ejimiwe) has also released a brand new track online called ‘MSI MUSMID’ – which seems like a weird title, but after reading Ghostpoet explain the inspiration for the song I think it’s just ‘Dimsum-ism’ backwards. Here’s what he said:
(MSI MUSMID is) a track based on a dream I had where dimsum and noodles were life-long friends who kept squabbling all the time…I try in vain to make sense of it all.

The track will be made available as a free download after it has received 1000 Soundcloud ‘reposts’, so make sure you repost it after listening to it!
