Just a few days back, Shakira was seen at Christmas NBA game with her boyfriend and two sons. It made a clear signal that she is ready to kick-off her “El Dorado World Tour”. It was scheduled to start on January 9th with the first concert in Orlando, Florida.
Now when everyone was excited that the Colombian star has recovered from her vocal cords hemorrhage, it turns out to be false. Shakira’s smiling face didn’t mean that she is well. In fact, she is yet to recover fully and that’s why she has postponed her tour. Along with the news of postponing her tour, she also told her fans that it might take longer than expected to recover. Think of second half of 2018!
That’s a lot of wait for Shakira’s fans to see her back on stage. She rescheduled the whole North American leg that will now happen after the European leg. She has already rescheduled the European leg. So August is when it starts in North America as the European leg is expected to end in July.
The good news is that you can buy tickets for rescheduled dates. You can also claim a full refund, which is a blessing considering not everyone can reschedule at the pace Shakira is doing as of now.
