Tori Kelly has released her new single “Hollow” last week. This single is all about Tori’s relationship with God and that’s the reason Tori thinks of it as a personal and special track. The track was released during her radio interview on NY’s Z100.
The new single “Hollow” isn’t on Tori’s debut album “Unbreakable Smile”. The album was released back in summer in the US. There are chances that Capitol Records is planning to re-release the debut album with some added tracks. The potential date for the album release could be Christmas as Tori and her label could be looking at some holiday sales to boost the initial sales.
When Tori came around in the music industry for the first time, no one was betting their money on her. I don’t what was about Tori that made people think she can’t make it big here. But then she surprised everyone with hits like “Nobody Love” and there she is everywhere on the news and in every other ‘new artists to watch’ discussion.
Her new single “Hollow” isn’t probably going to be as big a hit as was “Nobody Love” but that doesn’t mean this isn’t a quality song. Tori Kelly has really started shinning and “Hollow” is an example of that. Despite not being so ‘radio friendly’, “Hollow” is a catchy song that will get a ‘hit’ label for sure. The chorus is a bit repetitive and short to my liking but I’m sure Tori’s fans will ignore that bit of mistake and appreciate how good rest of the song is. Listen to it below.
