After a pretty mental promo campaign for new album Reflektor, it was good to hear Arcade Fire get down to some more traditional promotion last night with an appearance on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show.
During the session they played new album tracks ‘Reflektor’, ‘Afterlife’ and ‘Normal Person’. Win Butler also dropped a major hint that the band could be set to headline Glastonbury next year as well, telling listeners to ‘get your wellies ready’. There was also a lot of chat about the bands new direction (with all the Haitian drums etc…) as well as lots of praise for Reflektor‘s co-producer James Murphy.
