Single Review: “Supernatural” by AlunaGeorge

AlunaGeorge was seen last time in 2014 when doing a catchy remix of Coldplay’s “Magic” early this year. Except that one track, AlunaGeorge hasn’t done much this year to interest music fans and critics. The London-based due has finally released their new single to make an impression this year. This new single is titled “Supernatural” which premiered on BBC Radio 1 show recently. The due is expected to please their fans and critics with this single as it promises to deliver a hit for the British duo, thanks to breathy vocals and duo’s signature electro-R&B style production.

The duo has kept their signature sound in this track as we have already heard in their previous hit songs such as “Best Be Believing”. The vocals of the song are somewhat dark and lead vocalist Aluna Francis delivers them perfectly with his sultry and breezy vocals. If you listen to “Supernatural” carefully, you will notice that the song has borrowed the darkness from Daft Punk somewhat. The song has all the elements of jamming dance floors wherever it goes.

This new track will be part of duo’s follow up album to their 2013 hit album “Body Music”. We don’t have any word for this new album as of yet though.
