Isle of Wight festival sun

Isle of Wight Festival 2014 weather forecast – it’s looking good people!

For many this coming weekend marks the start of festival season proper, and there’s no better place to start than the Isle Of Wight Festival which begins this Thursday (12 June) and boasts an impressive looking line-up that features Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kings Of Leon, Biffy Clyro and a whole lot more.

If you’re currently getting your camping gear together and preparing to head off to the festival, then you may be interested to know what the weather has in store for you.

Well, you’re in luck on that front as forecasters reckon this weekend could be pretty damn glorious! It’s probably best you don’t get too excited as this is the UK after all, but it looks like you could be in for (whisper it) wall-to-wall sunshine throughout the weekend!

Here’s the up to date forecast from the Met Office for this weekend:

So, sunny all the way except for a little bit of cloud on Saturday. Possibly the best festival weather you could dare to hope for in the UK!

So forget the wellies and make sure you take your shades and suncream with you!
