Sia, the Grammy-nominated Australian singer and songwriter, made her debut on SNL during its 11th episode of season 40. She performed two songs live on the show and both performances were just fantastic and heart-wrenching. They were probably the best musical performances on TV we have seen throughout the weekend. Sia performed “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart”. The former is a Grammy-nominated single while the latter is her new official single which is set to catapult her to new heights of fame as a singer. With this performance gathering a lot of fan-love already, there is every chance that “Elastic Heart” will also become a chart buster.
The dance performance on “Elastic Heart” was simply mesmerizing, bringing out the very best of live music. In fact the dance performance by the talented Mime provided the necessary emotional up-drive that made this performance a lasting memory for anyone who enjoys Sia’s music. We wanted to find out who the Mime was but there were many things concealed in the performance. Sia was also wearing a face gear to conceal her face and stood sideways to the camera, making it all look a little weird but again mesmerizing for any music fan.
