Palma Violets debut album to be released Feb 2013…

Hot new band of the moment Palma Violets have today announced the release date of their highly-anticipated debut album.

Although they haven’t settled on a name for it yet, Palma Violets announced on their Facebook page that the album will be out on 25 February – and is available to preorder now via Rough Trade Records.

The band are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to the album, with Pulp’s Steve Mackey on production duties.

In other Palma Violets news, they have today been confirmed as part of the NME Awards Tour 2013 bill, and will play 13 UK dates in February along with Django Django, Miles Kane and Peace. Here’s the full dates:
