Mercury Prize 2012 nominees announced…

The 2012 Barclaycard Mercury Prize Albums of the Year nominees have been announced today. There were no real surprises, with everyone’s ‘hot tips’ Alt J, Jessie Ware and Michael Kiwanuka all featuring in the list of nominees. The full list is below, let me know who your favourite for the prize – to be announced on 1 November – is in the comments below. I think Richard Hawley might be a dark horse for it, myself.
